Setting Your 2022 GPS
I’m dropping in mid-week as I take a moment to Pause Breathe Reflect on this year and set my intentions for the new year.
On Christmas, I read the letter I wrote to my future self on 12/26/20. It was about recommitting to my health, anticipating my mom’s passing, and connection, to name a few topics.
Writing a letter to your future self is an exercise I recommend, along with examining your values and determining if you have the right people in your peloton. They, along with your one word, can help you frame your intentions for the new year – think of it as setting your GPS.
So, before you flip the calendar, I invite you to take a couple of hours for you, and slow it down and connect with you who wish to be in the new year.
Every road will take you there if you don’t know where you are going.
And speaking of connection, I want to thank you for our connection, whether you started riding with me years ago or just yesterday. I feel so grateful to have you in my peloton.
This week’s video is about connection, and the best way for us to stay connected next year, given some of the things on my “get to do” list, like riding my bike across the USA, is through my daily text messages.
They will be short messages of encouragement, teachings, and gratitude to help you navigate the new year. Text “Shift” to me at 503-487-5957. They start on Saturday, and the first one will be about coming up with your one word for 2022.
Also, don’t miss out on your chance to sign up for my Reflect Reset Renew: Breathe Your Way to Success course. It’s on a pre-sale discount until it launches on Saturday. In it, you will discover how to use your breath to manage your stress and realize more success.
Until the new year, remember slow is fast, and don’t forget to have fun storming the castle!
Thanks for riding with me this year. I’m grateful to be riding with you.
